Sweet skillet apples cooked in butter, brown sugar, maple syrup & nutmeg
Fresh from the skillet — new cookin' straight from the holler!
The sweet skillet apples I grew up eatin’ on top of pancakes with a big ol’ dollop of whipped cream. Nothin’ made my heart happier as a barefoot boy in the holler than wakin’ up to the smell of Granny’s baked apples cookin’ in her old cast-iron skillet.

Cletus Pro Tips from the Holler
Use tart apples so they hold their shape.
Campfire style works great — same recipe, just use your cast-iron over the fire.
Leftovers keep in the fridge for 2 days and taste even better warmed up.
